Vlogumentary Diary

of an Entrepreneur

The Vlogumentary journey of how the The Love Story got started.

Ep. 132 “Take Care”

Mingjie discusses why shadow work is necessary to empower free will for the individual who is desiring to discern true and false pursuits, paths, and purposes in life.

She also discusses the power of Grace's three-folds blessings and how Act Three's lessons on Grace is the precursor to "crossing over" to the world of the Divine Comedy, where the journal-artist's noble shadow becomes the guide as the mask and the mirror for the journey across the ying world of shadowland to find the new center.

Jedidiah takes Mingjie to Six Flags Holiday Park for the Christmas light show and takes Mingjie and Foxy to Idyllwild to go hiking.

Ep. 131 “Thanks & Giving”

Mingjie took a road trip with her mate up the 1 CA from southern cal to northern cal, passing through Big Sur and a few other hot spots along the west coast during Thanksgiving weekend. She also visited her bestie in SF and hiked a few trails, namely Sutro Baths and Land's End, Glen Canyon Park, Muir Woods, and in Fort Bragg in an off-trail place on the 20 near Jackson State Forrest. On November 28, 2020, The Love Story organization experienced their first virtual showcase, featuring Marlaina Smith, with a national audience of journal-artists journaling from Marlaina's live performance and a open mic candlelight Journaling Reading afterwards.

Moving forward in December, Mingjie plans on finishing up The Producer's Playbook, which is the bread and butter of the organization's mission —to transform pain into creative expression, held, inspired, and encouraged by a community of kindred journal-artists who are ready to process their pain into fiction, based on a true story while character building during one's journey.

Act Three is the Denouement of one's completion into the journey of transforming a tragedy into the beginnings of a divine comedy. She confides to Cristina, TLSorg's Brand Manager on the journey while prepares for an organized campaign to push the program to the market in the college communities.

Meanwhile, Mingjie is living out her character arc during highly uncertain and unstable times. She is finding her stability in what she knows best that has been working for her—vlogging, hiking, traveling, writing, and continuing the Journal-Artist Journey.

Ep. 129 “Hope of Return”

Mingjie prioritizes fundraising —Sales & Sponsorships, Government Contracts, and Grant Writing and building the first journaling program called "The Producer's Playbook." She is half way through Act Three's "Grace over Judgement" in honor of Jesus' third miracle, "Rise, Bear, and Walk" when healing a lame man by the pool of Bestheda. In her real-time reality, she is living her divine comedy and journaling almost every day on the silver linings.

Ep. 128 “Rise, Bear, Walk.”

Mingjie continues mentoring Journal-Artists inside The Producer's Playbook program on curse reversals & the miracle of grace & replace. Viviany is ready to begin her Divine Comedy book, Chelsea is set to publish in 2021, and the Mingjie is conveying the science behind the method to the madness of journaling a tragedy inside The Producer's Playbook with the Marketing Team from Kent Harber's research on the power of emotional disclosure and it being the initial stages of forgiveness. Quarantine time means a period of grace for The Love Story Creatives to begin mastering the concepts and preparing for the day the Journal-Artist practitioners become mentors, teachers, and speakers themselves.

Ep. 127 “We Made It.”

Mingjie is blessed by the space The Love Story Creatives have co-created with her that is The Love Story project, organization, and community. Two more Journal-Artists, Tamara & Viviany, have published their books. The Journal-Artist writers are connecting, mentoring, and holding space for one other, while holding space for the greater virtual community across the United States. The marketing team, public relations & production team are learning how to co-work collaboratively online, agile & cross functional. Here is a moment to pause and celebrate the milestones of our collective being & becoming from tragedy into divine comedy.

Ep. 126 “You Sow. God Grows.”

Mingjie is experimenting with Agile learning & cross functional team collaborations. She's taking advice from "The E Myth" by Michael Gerber and delegating more (finally! She's pretty stubborn when it comes to taking advice from others). She coordinates with the Grant team, the Marketing Team, and a group of Journal-Artist Producers who are ready to publish.

Flashback to August 2019, a year ago, while she was in Florence contrasted with her present state and space in 2020 quarantine in So Cal. In Florence, she was finishing up on her second edits on The Producer's Playbook. There she discovered that Leonardo Da Vinci's hometown and heart is in Florence and that Dante (as in Dante's Inferno and The Divine Comedy) was also birthed in Florence. She's in the right/write place for publishing The Producer's Playbook in this wondrous place. She also is inspired to see the original painting of The Last Supper by Leonardo Da Vinci, and observes the spiritual ways of how God approaches each side of the spiritual war at hand—one hand symbolize Grace and the other symbolize a mirror.

A Clue?

"For now we see a reflection, as in a mirror..." —1 Corinthians 13:12, first third.

Could this be a clue to reversing curses?

TBC.

Ep. 125 “This is Cray”

Mingjie enjoys her free time with her Soul Sista Sandy by the Bay (and MJ from LA). Sandy gives feedback on her initial impression of the book, Diary of a Crazy Entrepreneur.

Mingjie freestyles on a warm Sunday evening after hiking through Temescal Canyon Trail in Palos Verdes. Her spirit is up. She's living her silver lining in quarantine 2020.

Ep. 124 “Anti-Curses”

Mingjie is currently designing Act Two: Acting in Compassion for The Producer's Playbook Program—The Producer's Playbook is designed to journal our pain into a Three-Act Tragedy told in fiction, based on a true story.

She reminisces back to when she was in Montenegro, in self-quarantine, before it was even a mandatory thing, in 2019, by the Adriatic Sea, in Dobra Voda, Montenegro, inspired by a friend who meditated in Nepal with the monks before he started his company that helps people meditate.

There, she prepared through the brainstorming what an anti-curse is by first deconstructing what a curse is. She started pursuing this important lesson through the stillness of the waters and the solitude of the writing, disciplining herself in listening to her intuition while making sense of how it all begins in the Book of Genesis based on three premises:

1. God is Love .

2. Love is defined in 1 Corinthians 13.

3. Love is Free Will to choose Love or its Absence.

From there, she went down a rabbit hole to find the esoteric wisdom of Eve's action that initiated the anti-curse through a mirror darkly reflection.

In 2020, Mingjie is tasked to both create the curriculum and to translate it into psychology and scientific speak. Can she bring buy in from the scientific community after going on a pilgrimage to source the foundation from deeper spirituality?

A line in scripture in 1 Corinthians 13:12 is the whisper from the Holy Spirit to reveal it, so others can begin dealing, feeling, and deeply healing. She finds a breadcrumb a lead from studies led by James Pennebaker and more scientific researchers. Will Mingjie be able to fuse science with spirituality while communicating to the greater community, the solution in our suffering through journaling pain into purpose, what began in 1983 when Pennebaker had called, "Expressive Writing" and "Therapeutic Journaling"?

For Mingjie, it's a recent discovery of corroboration, but can she bridge science with spirituality for Funders & Foundations to place faith in her to execute the mission of inspire people to transform pain into journaling to prevent suicide and mitigate depression?

Ep. 123

“The Psychopath”

Mingjie is building a virtual organization with a team of volunteers who are focused on marketing, messaging, and creating a Blue Ocean value proposition for people going through tragedy. This is her make in times she felt like she would break. She reflects on her journey 365 days ago when she picked up her first manuscript of The Producer's Playbook in Palestine and began her drafting in Tuscany.

Ep. 122

“One is a Lone Number”

Mingjie flashes back to her time spent in Jerusalem and her trip to Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus Christ, where she pays homage to Mother Mary and Lover Mary of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Pastor Steven Furtick gives a sermon called, "Lonely Places," that recalls how Jesus' righteousness touches and heals the lepers of His time.

She also reads an excerpt called, "Letter to an Artist," from her book, Diary of a Crazy Entrepreneur. Today, she is quarantined with her family in Southern California while remotely operating with her Love Story Creative team, capturing moments of the silver lining to her past suffering.

One, a scene of her laughing with Chelsea Wolf, a Journal-Artist, while they were doing a mirror darkly journaling session and Two, a scene of her laughing with Richardo Zulueta, co-founder of StartDayOne.org, now focusing on her personal divine comedy, told in fiction, based on a true story.

Ep. 121

“God’s Promise to Abraham”

A year ago, Mingjie was visiting Abraham's Tomb in Hebron, Jesus' Tomb in Old City Jerusalem, and Virgin Mary's Tomb (not shown in Vlog) in the outskirts of Old City. This is where Mingjie was writing chapter 11 of The Producer's Playbook, The Ark, as in both the Arc of the Covenant, Noah's Ark, and the Character Arc. Now, in July 2020, Mingjie is sitting in quarantine, practicing perfect presence patience, sitting and meditating in self-respect by taking action towards things that build up rather than tear down.

Ep. 120

“Back to Basics”

Mingjie recalls where she was a year ago, what she experienced, and what she hoped for while inside the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem through a fiction, based on a true experience journal entry she had written while there.

Now, she is co-working virtually with a grant team, marketing team, and journal-artist team across America utilizing virtual tools like Trello, Slack, Zoom, Canva and Miro.

Can she go slow and steady while keeping her wits? After all, it is the turtle's pace that wins the race.

Ep. 119

“The Real Magdalene”

Mingjie reflects on where she was approximately one year ago and how her experience visiting the National Art Museum in Rome has made a deep impression of the esoteric wisdom of the divine feminine spirit in spiritual warfare for team love. She is quarantined with her parents, who are supporting her continued stability and serenity, while she continues to operate the "virtual" organization that has been growing pre-Covid times.

During this time, she is asking others to lend their strength in talent, insight, and time from kindred contributors who also resonate with the mission.

Sheila, TLS's marketing strategist, recommends consistency, uniformity, and a clear message. Ajay is planning a Google Ads strategy that is effective while helping the organization set up and integrate conversion metrics. Tamara, Katie, Cristina, Hayley, Casey, Daniel V., Daniel W., Dorothy, Amy, Aura, and Dorothy are all helping with marketing efforts, refining the language in "About Us," SEO, Keywords, hashtags, and creative content designed to increase engagement and to clarify the why and how of how the mission of the organization may become fulfilled for each individual—journaling pain into purpose.

James, TLS's CFO, is helping Mingjie do the to hard number crunching so they may know their specific goals for the organization to create sustainability, short and long terms. Meredith and Mingjie are coordinating with Luke, Levi, and Patrick inside the grant team to create current data points when preparing for external donor ask.

Ep. 118 “Waymaker”

Mingjie is allowing help and asking for help. This is a major breakthrough in growing the organization. The Love Story is at the pre-teen level. She's validating her own way through the help of The Holy Spirit and the people that the organization is attracting to continue on the path of spiritual, emotional, and business growth.

Maybe because as she is getting healthier (after doing a LOT of self-work/shadow work last year), the organization is getting healthier.

Is there a parallel between founder & foundation?
